  •  What is my account?
Your account is your personal profile for purchasing items at Greenwich Music. Contained in your account is your credit card, billing and shipping info and any wish lists that you've created.   top of page
  •  Managing/Updating your account
To update any account information, click on My Account, Log in and then change any information in your profile. Make sure to hit the SAVE button to save your changes. If you are engaged in the checkout process click on the "Edit Account" button, make your changes and press SAVE. You will then be re-directed back to your checkout. Please note that you cannot delete your account. If you wish to delete your account from our database send an e-mail to Customer Service and we will gladly accommodate your request.   top of page
  •  I forgot my UserName and/or Password.
Once your establish your Account profile, you will choose a username, password and password reminder. If you forget your username and/or password when trying to Log in to "MyAccount" or during checkout, click the appropriate link "Forgot my password" or "Forgot my username". We will send you via e-mail your Greenwich Music "MyAccount" username and/or password. IMPORTANT: Make sure to include your full name and password reminder in your e-mail.   top of page

  •  Cancel an Order:
When an order is placed in our secure online order site, the information is automatically entered into our system. If you place an order and then wish to retract that order, send an email to Customer Service with your name and order number or call us at 1.800.630.3615.   top of page

When ordering, you have the option to create a personal account. Through this account, you provide certain types of information such as physical address, telephone number, email address, credit card number and expiration date. Without this information, an order cannot be shipped and/or billed. An email may be sent to you, or a phone call made if there is any trouble processing your order. This information is stored and viewed collectively. The data allows you to order multiple times from Greenwich Music without re-entering billing and shipping information. We use various shipping companies to deliver your order, and a credit card processing company to bill you for those goods and services. These companies do not retain, share, store nor use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes. This site may at times make chat rooms, forums, message boards, and/or news groups available. Please remember that any information that is disclosed in these areas becomes public information. Caution should be exercised when deciding to disclose personal information. We will not sell, share, nor rent this information to any third party marketer without your express knowledge and consent as outlined in this statement. As we continue to develop our business, we may sell or buy stores or assets. In such transactions, customer information generally is one of the transferred business assets. At that time, information may be shared with the parent, subsidiary or merger partner involved in the transaction. We also reserve the right to sell our interest in membership information as a separate asset of the corporation in the event of a major restructuring or similar corporate event.

If there is a change to be made to your personally identifiable information - such as a zip code, email address, or area code changes - such editing may be done by accessing My Account and clicking on Edit. Payment Information

  •  Credit Card Payments

Greenwich Music can accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover cards through this web site. If you wish to use an American Express card, that order will have to be phoned in.

On all credit card orders, the name on the credit card must match the name on the billing address. Credit Card orders are subject to review, and we may phone you if there is a question about a credit card order. This is for your protection to guarantee the validity of an order, and to safeguard against fraudulent credit card use. You will be notified by telephone or certified mail if we suspect the misuse of your credit card.   top of page

  •  Pricing and Availibility
Some prices displayed are MAP (Minimum Advertised Price). Actual retail and/or sell prices may vary. Prices on web-site are as current as possible but may be inaccurate. Most products are in stock and can be shipped immediately. In some cases an item will become out of stock before being updated on this web site.   •  What is MAP?
MAP stands for "Minimum Advertised Price." This is the lowest price that Greenwich Music is allowed to display for new items by certain manufacturers. In some cases the MAP price does NOT accurately reflect the ACTUAL selling price of certain items at Greenwich Music. This is NOT a policy put in place by Greenwich Music. All authorized dealers of certain items are required to abide by MAP policy.   top of page
  •  Special Orders
Greenwich Music will gladly special order any product that is available to us from a manufacturer. This includes but is not limited to products that are normally in our inventory but are currently out of stock, custom pieces(guitars, drums, etc.), and non-inventory items. A 50% non-refundable, non-transferable deposit is required for all special orders.    top of page
  •  Warranty and Product Registration
EVERY ITEM at Greenwich Music has a manufacturers warranty. Greenwich Music also encourages all customers to REGISTER their purchases with the given manufacturer after receipt of item. Registering your product activates manufacturers warranty.   top of page

Returns and Shipping Information

  •  Return Policy
We truly appreciate your business and want you to be 100% satisfied. If not completely satisfied with your purchase, return it within 30 days of receipt for a refund, store credit, or exchange. Refunds are for the value of the equipment only. Both outbound and return shipping are your responsibility if an item is not purchased. Please note the following:

Returnable Items: For full credit, items must be in original condition showing no signs of wear, and be received back within 30 days. Please be careful because jewelry, belt buckles, snaps and zippers can easily scratch your instrument.

Store Credit Only Items:
Microphones, Wireless products and Recording equipment, including Multi-track, Hard Disk, DAT, CD, Tape Recorders and Duplicators are returnable for Store Credit only. Upon return, these items are checked thoroughly; those found to have excessive use time or head wear will be charged a minimum restocking fee of 15%.

Non-Returnable Items:
The following items are non-returnable:
a) Copy-protected material: Sheet music, Books, Videos, Software, Sample Libraries, and CD-ROM's.
b) Recording media: Cassette, Reel, or DAT tape, and Mini-disc, Zip disc or CDRs.
c) Disposable products: Drumheads, Drumsticks, Cleaning Supplies, Care Products, Rosin, Tubes, Strings.
d) Personal use items: Reeds, Harmonicas, Pitch Pipes, Ear Plugs and In-ear Monitors.
e) Parts and modules: All instrument parts including Clarinet Barrels, Guitar Parts, Pickups, Raw Frame Speakers, Expansion Boards, and Sound Cards.

Special Order Returns:
We will gladly special order any item available to us. Special orders may be returned within the 30 day return period, but 25% of the original 50% deposit remains non-refundable.   top of page
  •  Return Procedure:

If for any reason you need to return a product, please call (800) 630-3615 first to receive a Return Authorization and an RA number. Returns will not be accepted without an RA number. Upon returning any item, always include an explanation for the return that includes your name, school name, RA Number, PO number (if applicable), address, phone number, invoice number on a piece of paper inside the returned shipping carton. If we do not have all of this information, we will not be able to process your return. COD shipments will not be accepted! Returns will only be accepted for 30 days following shipment. Merchandise not returned in original packaging is subject to a 20% restocking fee.

1. To ensure proper credit, call Customer Service for your return authorization number (RA#). We are available at 800-630-3615 or 203-869-3615 M-F 10-6, Sat 10-5:30, Sun 12-4 EST.
2. Make sure to return everything. Include all original packaging, accessories (e.g. power adapters, mouthpieces, etc.) and paperwork (e.g. owner’s manual, warranty card, etc.) for a complete refund. Please do not write on the box, manual, or warranty card until certain you will keep this purchase. Include the original packing list and in writing(seperate piece of paper) clearly indicate your reason for returning.
3. You are responsible for merchandise until it safely reaches our warehouse. To protect your return please:
(a) Repack items using all original packing materials
(b) Double box your shipment to prevent damage
(c) Insure for the full value of your purchase
(d) Write the Return Authorization # on the outside of the shipping box, NOT on the merchandise box.
4. Keep your tracking number! Ship your items back with a trackable service like FedEx or UPS. We are not responsible if your return merchandise gets lost in the mail.
5. Allow 2 weeks for your return to clear and process. Credit card purchases are credited back to the original credit card. Check and Money order purchases are refunded by company check.

Damaged in Transit:
Your order is carefully packed to exceed UPS, FedEx, and USPS shipping requirements. If an item arrives damaged:

1. Call us within 48 hours for return instructions. To qualify for damage protection, you must notify us of any problems within 48 hours of receipt. We are available at 800-630-3615 or 203-869-3615 M-F 10-6, Sat 10-5:30, Sun 12-4 EST.
2. Repack the damaged merchandise, using all of the original boxes and packing materials. Items missing original packaging, may not qualify for damage protection.
3. Give to our shipper. We will arrange to have UPS or FedEx pickup the item and carefully inspect it for shipping damage, before returning it to us. Upon receiving the returned merchandise, we will send out a replacement.
4. Be certain. Please be advised that return fees may apply if damage is not a result of shipping.

Delivery Refused:
If the carrier returns an item because it was refused or undeliverable, a 10% restocking fee will apply. If the item was shipped for free, outbound shipping fees will be charged back at the time of return.   top of page

  •  Shipping Rates:
Shipping fees are calculated based on the total weight of the order unless otherwise noted. Greenwich Music will use either UPS Ground shipping service, Federal Express or USPS. Any other shipping service or carrier will be used only at the customer's request(ie. UPS red/overnight, etc.).   top of page
  •  International Shipping:
We ship virtually anywhere in the world using UPS International. While this is a more expensive method compared to US Postal Service, we feel that our customers deserve the high level of reliability, tracking, and service UPS provides. Some restrictions on shipping abroad are imposed by certain manufacturers. Please contact via e-mail Customer Service or by phone 1-800-630-3615 for details.
Orders to be shipped to APO and FPO addresses can only be delivered by the US Postal Service. A few oversized items we sell can not be delivered to APO and FPO addresses because of US Postal Service size restrictions.   top of page
  •  Tracking your package:
When your order is shipped, a UPS receipt will be e-mailed to you containing your tracking number. You can log onto www.ups.com and with your tracking number, track your package.   top of page
